The hotel had a huge room with beautiful views, tasteful Italian interior, and excellent Italian dishes at the restaurant. The location was ideal for hiking with maps available at the reception. The panoramic terrace offered stunning views of the city and sea. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
There was nothing I didn't like.

The Hotel's has a wonderfull view on the city and coast of Livorno and offers a lot of space to enjoy this view from different view points. The room was very big, with an backdoor leading to the terras. The surrounding area is enjoyablen, relaxing and peacefull compaired with the city center of Livorno.
Hard to get to the hotel, since the streets are very steep and narrow, and the city map do not indicate this very well and on scale. (we didn't have GPS ...).

Located on a hill in the Livorno area, Hotel La Vedetta offers a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape. the rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms. the staff is friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants and assisting with reservations. Breakfast is a cold buffet with a good selection of food. the hotel also features a panoramic terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the view.
Some guests have reported difficulty accessing the hotel due to narrow and winding roads in the area.

Really liked being up the hill and the fresh air there, fab views, but not too far off main coastal route. Could have spent more time relaxing there as nice place/site. Breakfast was good but coffee was not very hot, same every morning.

- The location was extremely nice, high up in the mountain outside Livorno (although its hard to find) - The hotel has got a Panorama Teracce which can be used for sunbathing and relaxing. - The general standard of the hotel is OK compared to the price. - The breakfast is OK.
Large parts of the rooms have no view whatsoever, be aware of that when you book a room.

Gorgeous panoramic terrace with stunning views. Located in a peaceful and secluded area.
Staff were incompetent and didn't speak much English. Rooms were poorly maintained, with bare walls and old furniture.

All over a very good hotel experience. Our room had the most magnificent view of all of Livorno. Fantastic. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious, cozy and clean. It is situated some way away frim the city centre, but excellent public transportation makes it easy to get to the city. A small electric train takes you from the little square by the hotel and down the steep slopes to where the bus stop is. Very quaint and efficient.
Breakfast is always an issue in Italy... This hotel was no exception. Though I have seen much worse.

The sea view from our room was breathtaking and the Christmas decorations added a cozy touch to the room. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast spread had a good variety of options. Best aspects: the hotel's location on the hill provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed taking walks around the surrounding area and exploring the nearby village. the on-site restaurant served delicious food and had a nice ambiance.
Our room was somewhat outdated and needed some maintenance.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was superb, nestled in the hills above this city and conveniently accessible via the funicular. The panoramic view from the terrace was simply amazing, overlooking the whole city and the beautiful sea. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the spacious rooms offered a comfortable and pleasant stay. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable.

The view of the hotel is just amazing. It is located on a hill and you can see the whole city and the sea. The rooms are big and the breakfast was really delicious - more than what we expected in an Italian Hotel.
It is not easy to get to the hotel, but going uphill through the narrow streets is part of the adventure. Unfortunately, there is really not much space to park the car and the night receptionist (or the owner?) was not very helpful. He kept shouting parking instructions in Italian to my boyfriend who doesn't speak a word of Italian. And then he complained that our friend and me spoke in German to my boyfriend in order to help him get into the narrow parking spot. So our arrival was not that welcoming. But it was just this guy. The rest of the staff was really nice.
